Helicopter Crashes on A&M Campus


COLLEGE STATION - Emergency crews are on the scene of a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter crash on the Texas A&M University Campus.

The crash happened during an annual training exercise on Duncan Field.

College Station Fire department public information officer Bart Humphries reports indicate 5 people are injured, none of which are believed to be TAMU students.

Apparently,

They had just dropped off 20 cadets, and were attempting to take off. Just heard that there may be one casualty. Don't think it is a current A&M student.

Please pray for all those involved.

I'm not an expert on the Blackhawk but I don't think it has seating arrangements for twenty. Something like a crew of 4 and 14 passengers. I'd wait for some official info as someone with an unaccounted for kid might get worried.
