I heard that Mark Walberg is involved in a re-make of Sharky's Machine, which is one of my favorite movies...it was supposed to come out in '08 but I guess something went haywire...

I don't know how young folks afford to take a date out to a movie anymore. $7-$8 each for tickets, $10 at concession stand, and then $25 or so for dinner before or after---not to mention gas. That's $50+ easy.

Movies are a lame date. No interaction. Gotta do something fun and interactive.

LOL. Sorry, but it's been 40+ years since my dating days---but I always did look forward to the "interactive" part of dating. :D

You see there is a trick to the movies now.. First you have to make sure the theatre you are going to gives free refills on drinks and popcorn. Then if they do you go to the theatre, buy your tickets and go in and sit down with your date.

Then comes the tricky part... You tell your date that you are going to the bathroom (to make sure she doesn't come with), then you go and you check the trash cans for the appropriate sized popcorn and drink cups that get refills, take those into the bathroom and wash them out, then go to the concession stand and get your "refills", you show back up to your date surprising her with popcorn and drinks and you don't pay a dime.. A true win - win
