When can a basketball game be called?

I noticed looking at scores it appears the Roosevelt/Carter Riverside game was called after 3 with Roosevelt up 55-1.

My first thought would be the losing team just getting frustrated and starting to play dirty. Heck any school getting beat like they would do that.

Saw in a 2A boys game tonight that Edgewood beat Rice 103-23. OUCH!

Depends on the district rules. The team I coach this year won a game 38-0. We go to a running clock anytime there is a 24 point deficit.
