great movie! very racially insensitive, but that made it great! He uses every racial epithat known for hispanic, asian, black, irish, italian, polish and so on! He's my favorite actor, didn't let me down. Ending was not what I expected, but made sense. His character is a mix of gunny highway from Heartbreak Ridge and William Money from Unforgiven.

Great. I'm planning on going to see this movie tomorrow. I was hoping it was as good as advertised.

Not too many actors get this kind of recognition/great reviews at age 78.

Clint has been and always will be the "feces".:)

Glad to hear it...I might go check it out tomorrow before the playoff games start if I can get my ass out of bed that early on a Saturday...;)

I agree with all the great reviews posted above. The wife and I went to see it last night and both loved it. Eastwood's maybe the only man in Hollywood that could make people believe that an 80-year-old, broken-down man could kick the junk out of a bunch of thugs.

I read somewhere yesterday that Clint said this would be his last acting job:(

Apparently, he picked a good one to go out on!

it was a great movie. I was a little turned off at the beginning with CLint's character and the fact that he just hated EVERYTHING. But the way the movie evolved and ended made it one of the best movies I have ever seen!

Just an FYI, if you go see it this weekend, get there early. We went to the 12:30 pm show and there was not an empty seat in the place.

LOL right...I think before he dies he needs to make one more Dirty Harry flick and one more "Man With No Name" flick...

That is not sci fi brother, that is an action horror

the existence of werewolves and vampires in a world where they are commonplace hmmm. sounds science fiction, but I'm not an aficionado of the genre so, whatever.

nothing about that movie strikes me as horror. Action yeah.

SCI-FI IMO is more aliens, and spaceship and science expierments gone wrong

Werewolves and Vampires are part of folklore and legend of the traditional horror literature

traditionally speaking they weren't portrayed as dominant species fighting for control over a world. Sci-Fi to me was what you described but also imaginary type worlds and stuff, I don't know, i'm not Dwight Schrute, I've never seen Battlestar Galactica haha

me either lol..not a big sci fi fan..but I am a horror fan

in the mythical world of underworld they have been battling for ever. That is the world or cannon that story created.

But also in the underworld..uhh world lol...They fight these big battles but very few humans know about them

My wife and I saw Gran Torino last weekend and both thought it was great. The theater was almost full and the crowd seemed a little older. I'm a bit surprised you young guys like it so much as I thought it was probably an "old geezer"favorite. I've always like Clint and hope it is not his last movie.

One thing about him, he lives life on his own terms. His love life may have slowed, but I doubt he has retired from women!

I debated it in my head about taking my 12 year old. Glad I didn't, but in a couple of years I think he should see it. Good story about right and wrong and sacrifice for others.

awesome movie...
My wife and I saw it Saturday afternoon. Good thing we got there at 330 for a 400 show... The place got packed in a hurry.

But It was a great movie, and like someone mentioned earlier... not the ending I expected. I will leave it at that.

Thought it was odd that on the way out of the theater, you could have heard a pin drop out in the parking lot... DEAD SILENT. Usually there are people talking about this and that, what to go eat, and how the movie ended and so forth but this one left the audience silent... anyone else notice that?
