Why are they not throwing the ball in the endzone on that even if Manny catches that and gets brought down at the 1 time runs out.

You can't quantify this kind of stupidity! Throw the darn ball to Gresham instead of to the guy with 4 Gators around him!

I don't know what's worse, OU's red zone offense or the Fox Broadcasters! I could be persuaded to go either way right now!

Fox doesnt have any regular games so they have horrible chemistry in the booth because the guys havent worked together before. If Charles Davis was with ESPN he would be doing the 11 AM games between Hampton and Florida A&M on ESPNU.

aren't all the guys they've had doing BCS games actually NFL analysts who get the C and D games in the NFL on a weekly basis?

The reason you didn't see Buck and Aikman is they're doing an NFL game this weekend. The only people who did BCS games are announcers that Fox didn't want for the NFL playoffs.

To me it's about the game, not the announcers. The only one I really listen to closely is John Madden, he brings something extra to a game.

I stopped watching right before the half. I go to bed by 9 most nights, sometimes earlier.

Anyhow, curiosity got the best of me as I was trying to go to sleep, so I turned on my radio and began tuning the dial.

Finally I found a strong signal of the game on WWL AM 870 out of New Orleans and the broadcasters were none other than the Big Two of ESPN/ABC, Brent Musburger and Kirk Herbstreit.

I'm not really a fan of BM (and I KNOW he was crushed not only that he was not doing the telecast, but ESPECIALLY because his beloved Trojans weren't involved), but I have to admit that compared to what I had been hearing over the telecast, this was Broadcasting Hall of Fame-caliber by comparison.

I agree.

But we also had a mediocre game that didn't live up to the hype of a championship. At lease they were talking and not sleeping, like I wanted to when I was watching it.

I have to admit though, when FOX did the UT game it was the same boring commentary, but the game was probably the best all year and was extremely exciting.
