So he'll be there until 2014 or until he gets a job offer he likes better or until he gets fired if he has a couple of rough seasons.

Long-term extensions in college mean almost nothing unfortunately.

Sad, but true, in today's coaching world....but I do believe that Patterson is very happy in Ft. Worth.
