Pacman to sue ESPN

Apparently Pacman isn't too happy about ESPN's latest claim that he arranged to have someone shoot at three men.

You never have to reveal your sources. A judge could how you in contempt, but you still don't have to reveal your sources.

Totally different circumstances. Court documents most likely stolen illegally vs the word of a player or non loyal Cowboys executive.

from reading the story from another source on another site... it appears that this is from an investigation into the shooting after an incident a few years back in Atlanta... and the Atlanta police gave someone a head's up that Pacman was involved...ESPN just reported a story...
not seeing how Pacman will win this one... trying to save what little reputation he has...

good move by Jerry... money cannot buy you everything

you want the cowboys to be in the toilet for the next decade.....vince young would surely do that....excellent athlete.....not intelegent enough to figure defenses....in college it was just run baby run......not gonna happen in the nfl..........you want the cowboys to feel the way the titan players said they felt when vince was in the game...when he is gonna make the mistake to cost the game.............

It is amazing that this dude has avoided being convicted of anything, but I guess we all know that it is coming eventually.

The only problem here comes with something I learned in my Media Law class when I was in college.

In order to sue for defamation, the defendant must be able to show that their reputation has been damaged as a result. If you already have a damaged reputation to start with, it's pretty much free reign for people to say almost anything they want to about you and get away with it.
