West Columbia defeats (2A) Hitchcock in OT 82-79.

Z. Garcia led the way with atleast 18 points, he may have had more.

Hitchcock lead by 9 in the 3rd qt, 49-40, until Columbia went on a 14-2 run to take back the lead, 54-51.

Columbia then proceded to score more and increase their lead to as much as 11, 67-56 abotu halfway through tthe fourth.

Needless to say, Hitchcock made a raging comeback and overcame a 9 point deficit with less than 2 minutes to play.

The game went to OT tied at 72.

Z. Garcia scored 8 of the 10 OT points for the Roughnecks and they beat Hitchcock 82-79.

#5 for Hitchcock was VERY impressive. He led the team with 20 something points, 4 of which came on 2 dunks.

The Necks improve to 10-9 on the season, I think. :D

They had some really good athletes, especially #5. He was about 6'2'' and 190ish pounds.

Just posting the info I got.

I wasn't sure of Z. Garcia's (WC) point total earlier, but now I found out he had 28 points.

That is a new career high for him on Varsity!

Congrats to him.
