I don't know if I've ever watched a high school team attempt more 3's than Ranchview did tonight. I lost count at around 35. Ranchview has always been a team that attempts a lot of 3's, but man when they aren't falling and your opponent has no interior defensive presence it's time to get in the paint and go to work. There's no point in putting on a dunk show in warm-ups if all you're going to do is jack up three after three after three. They even pulled up on a 2 on 1 to shoot a three.

They lost to Kaufman and Adamson so Im guessing they arent that good!

They're out of Hutch kids if that tells you anything. We beat them last Friday 83-52 at Ellis Davis and didn't play our PG after the first quarter and had our starting 5 sit out the final three quarters with a slight knee sprain. We let our back-up 5 play PG the final 12 minutes of the game. He even knocked down a couple of 3's for good measure...lol. We actually sat every starter with 4 minutes left in the 3rd and went with an all-forward lineup against them.

If Coach Mobley was a bit like his old boss at Velt we could've put 110 on the board and won by 60 or so. He believes in being nice to folks when they're having a down year though which is nice to see. I guess being from Chicago he didn't get the DISD memo about running up the score every chance you get!

I watched y'all on MetroSports the other day against SOC. Hornstein is playing himself into a scholarship to a mid-major type school. He made the all-tournament team at the Coca-Cola. I hope he's able to get himself a scholarship. From what little I know of him he seems like a good kid so I hope for the best for him.

Postponed until Thursday because after moving the game from Monday they couldn't find any refs for the game yesterday. They're also moving the game to Burk.

Argyle site says it's canceled and they host Kennedale on Friday.
