Anyone that loses to Oregon State cannot be considered best ever. Pac 10 is weak despite the 5-0 bowl record. They had favorable matchups in those games with the exception of Oregon which I will give the Ducks kudos for that win even if it was Pac 10 #2 versus Big 12 #4 or #5.

people have apparently forgotten that USC has a loss too, to an Oregon state team arguably not in the top 25

While it is an improvement of what we had prior, it still leaves too many questions. I would love to see USC play Florida, Texas and/or Utah.

I just think that if USC were not media darlings, then maybe some folks would take off their hater goggles and realize that USC really does have a dominate defense and a formidable offense.
