Being a TW'hater myself, I couldn't resist to spread to everyone signed up of the bad news.

CBS being the most important includes 2 bowl games + 5 playoff games coming up.

Showtime is on that list as well.

From reading the article, it didn't mention either CBS or Showtime being yanked.

Correct nothing is official in stone right now, but those are two Viacom owned channels.

Here localy ABC is getting yanked from TW, so it will differ from location.

There are 19 channels nationwide and some locals going dark at midnight. The main ones they are advertising on are Comedy Central, MTV, BET, SpikeTV, and TvLand.

Yes, I know that Viacom owns CBS. It seems that all my stations are live today. Viacom wants scads of money, but TW is the bad guy.

yea it is a sticky deal all around when it comes to Channels and cable systems

TW claims it is "backing the cusotmer" by not agreeing to a higher charge

and Viacom says it is only "providing entertainment" for the cusotmer, but TW is blocking that

it lies somewhere in the middle, neither care truly about the customer, just about the greenbacks

so, are customers going to get higher bills now? I hope not, but I'm pretty sure Time Warner will pass the buck on to us.
