With Dallas out... who does a die hard Cowboys fan root for?

I am thinking Miami... lots of ex-Dallas players there. Plus, if they are there then that means the Patriots are not.

I've always liked the Colts, and I can root for the Vikings and the Chargers too. (Do the Chargers even still have a chance?) But for me it's more about who I'm rooting against--and that would be the Steelers, the Dolphins, the Patriots, and the Eagles. Secondary to those teams would be the Giants and the Falcons. Any time anyone is playing those teams, I'm going to be rooting for the opponents.

Well, I am not a cowboys fan.. I am a Jaguars fan and we had a rough season. The best thing out of this season is a good position in the draft. I will have to say that I am rooting for the Dolphins and Falcons in this one. Chad Pennington must have the best bitter sweet feeling towards the old ball team.

As for the Falcons, I remember watching Matt Ryan for BC and it just screamed franchise player even then. I would love to see someone of his character lead his team to the Super Bowl in his rookie season.

For me Vikings in the NFC live close to Palestine so saw Peterson a lot in his younger days and the Colts in the AFC with secondary teams being Arizona/Carolina in the NFC and the Chargers in the AFC.

Considering Kurt Warner was my favorite QB growing up, I've got to root for the Cardinals. And I'm thinking I'll root for the Dolphins in the AFC because I think Chad Pennington has always gotten a bad rep, and a SB appearance would silence a lot of that.
