Eat cherries. Doc says they protect against gout.

PPHS - hope you continue to recovery from the gout. We have a buddy with it and he gets flare ups from time to time and it really takes a toll on him. Sure hope you get it under control ASAP :)

I suffer from Gout as well. My Dr has prescribed me a medicine to take as soon as I start getting the pain. It is very effective. If you want to name of the medicine, send me a PM. I do not have it here, but I can get it for you when I get to the house.
