Cowboys win this game by 14+ if Romo plays a turnover free game.

Playoff winning teams play good defense and run the ball, the Cowboys need to get that formula going starting this week!

Interesting note:

Dallas last win in the final week of the regular season was 1999, that's 8 years since they've won on the last week of a regual season game!

That last win in 1999 was another win-and-in game, like this week's game at Philly.

Last road win in the final weekend dates back to 1995 another

they suck in December - this is not news

i'm prepared for the worse case scenario - romo throwing it away - oline with multiple false starts - defense giving up big plays - terrible play calling - TO throwing a hissy fit after not catching any passes (and g$$ coming to tell us all about it) -- this way if by some miracle they happen to win I'll be happy :D

Their first matchup was an offensive showcase with both teams looking unstoppable. The Cowboys defense has improved greatly while both teams offenses have seen better days, but I think the Boys have enough left in them to pull off the win.

Cowboys 27
Eagles 17

Last time Roy Williams played against the Eagles he posted a career high 204 yd reception day with a TD and he wants to be more involved this week with the offense as he feels he has the offense down already. Cowboys have the weapons to give the defenses fits, but the running game i think is first thing that needs to be forced first.

If they win--and that's a big if--I have no doubt this is what will happen.

To be honest, though, as much as I love the Cowboys, I've totally lost my faith in Wade Phillips and I'm pretty close to the same with Romo. I don't even know that I'm holding out much hope for Jason Garrett. This season has been heartbreaking. To have started out with so much hope and so much potential, and then see them absolutely throw away (literally) so many games...

and a Atlanta loss and Dallas win puts the Cowboys as the #5 seed.

The Cowboys are just not a playoff team. They don't look like a playoff team---they are not playing like a playoff team. I hope enough drastic changes can be made to remedy this in the offseason. It is readily apparent that they have some major problems on the offense. This team is in no way represenative of what Cowboys fans have come to expect on the field.

It's not entirely his fault. When you are forced to throw 30+ passes a game past 20 yards there isn't much you can do.

They should hire Greg Davis so they can run all those short routes Colt McCoy seems to have 100% of his success on.

Well, at least our Defense is well rested. They can probably do a better job at scoring than our O can.

Romo... the man who cannot win the big game.

I still dont thnk you can blame all this on Romo... You can tell he really wants this.game.... The whole team is pittiful today.

Doesn't matter if he deserves it or not for his play. His career December and January record will hang him with it.

I can agree with that, but I still am a Tony Romo fan.

I am a fan of strong leaders on the field. I really really WISH Tony would be that leader. But that just ain't him.

Put me down for another vote to bring in a talented QB to challenge Tony. He needs to feel some competition come next training camp.

Of course... lots of players on this team fit that bill...

Really looking forward to hearing the postgame press conference... Wade and Romo for sure.

I agree, he needs either/or competition or a backup.

I was ticked off when the Cowboys passed on Brady Quinn. And that was after Romo's great first year.

Good luck to the Eagles in the playoffs. When Dallas goes back to hiring players with character and work ethic they will return to glory.

After this game, and more particuiliarly this season, I think most Cowboys fans are both mad and embarrassed. I will be very interested to see if real, and not token, changes are made. It is quite apparent that Jerry Jones has paid out a lot of big $$$ for many players with purported superior talent, but questionable characters in the areas of motivation and effort on the field. The loss of the Cowboys no. 1 sports franchise moniker is in serious jeopardy at this point, and that, more than anything else, will get Mr. Jones' attention.
