I concur, Region 4 Class 3A goes through West Oso. Dist. 26 is very good, but da Bears are TALENTED!!!

The Tourney is Dec. 29th and 30th in Corpus at CALLEN HS.

Sweeny plays Utopia @ 11:30am on the 29th.

I am not for sure what Stafford looks like but Sweeny is as follows.

Bay City
Calhoun
Edna

BRAZOS TOURNEY - don't remember, Brookshire, Bellville

Van Vleck Tourney - Tidehaven, Edna, Weimar, Wharton, Weimar

There was one other game but I can't remember who.

All of the games were big wins. Well they beat Brookshire by 9 in a game Sweeny played poorly.

Upcoming

29th - 30th Calallen Tourney

Jan. 6th Van Vleck
9th @ El Campo
12th Sealy

Then District begins

16th @ Stafford

They will have no problem with Utopia. Calallen is a great tourney. Calallen has all ready beaten Number 1 Estacado!!! Did I say Region 4 goes through West Oso??? Still the same!!!

Sweeny will face the winner of Floresville and Calallen if Sweeny wins. If they lose they play the loser. Both second round games are scheduled for 5:30pm on the 29th.

When you beat Bellville by 15...they did not have their football players yet...They had just lost the night before. Only 5 Varsity bodies played you guys. You guys are good, but don't get too cocky.

I'm not being cocky. I just feel that we may play for awhile in the playoffs. Last year we lost in the second round by 9 to then number one Hardin - Jefferson. Sweeny went cold in the second half. Sweeny only lost their power forward from last years team. Do I believe Sweeny will win the Calallen tourney NO; but it will make them better for the playoffs.

Region 1 should be fun to watch with Lubbock Estacado, Burkburnett and Glen Rose...
