I hope my memory isn't failing me, but isn't Dayton the team that had the kids get in trouble very early on? I think I remember seeing the speculation that they would have a tough time without those kids.

P4S has been updating me on this one, and says it's been alotta fun to watch. Sounds like a game up in Graham earlier this year.......sound familiar Lookin4#8?

That's what I was thinking. It sounds like they have done quite well without them. :)

Sulfur Springs 69
Dayton 49

Dayton missed too many free throws. Lots of yardage and big plays in this one. Great game for the fans.

First & foremost I love a good defensive game, but I gotta tell ya....watching this game yesterday was FUN!

Both teams were scoring in 3 or 4 plays in the first half. It was AWESOME! :D

Dayton made more mistakes and Sulpher Springs made 'em pay.

I really wanted to see 70 & I jinxed em. :( Josh (KAO) & I were high 5'ing saying 70!! and me & smart mouth said, "they still have to make the xp" ;)

Bummer...haha

I agree with Matt, both teams were just THAT strong offensively.

i was at this game (Dayton is 5 miles from Liberty, so i went to go see the Broncos..) anyway, that was some crazy offense...that QB for sulphur springs has a serious arm on him and the legs to boot....

and yes, Dayton was the team that had 6 or 7 defensive starters kicked off the team to start the year because they got caught stealing computers from the junior high....i think 1 or 2 of them were being looked at by D1A schools as well...it was the right thing to do, and they struggled early because of it but came on after their lost to Friendswood earlier in the year....

any other time of year i'd claim that neither team had a defense when watching that game, but you dont make it to the state title game w/o absolutely no defense, that was jsut 2 really great offenses....

I take complete credit for Rollison being the QB he is...I was his first coach in 7th grade!!!
