Led by 1st team all-state RB Dwight Smith.

Like I said before, no offense to the other RB's in Texas, but Smith is in his own league...........

Let's just say Congrats to Carthage. They were the better football team tonight. They were bigger, stronger and faster it seems. My Bobcats played with Heart and I love em all. Thanks for a great season!

Dwight Smith is good. Real good. However, Carthage's offensive line manhandled Celina. That was the difference in the game. Celina got beat. Carthage is better.

Congrats to both teams on fine seasons!

Like I said in another post D.Smith is one of the tops 3 backs I've seen (A.Peterson,J.Calhoun,D.Smith). But overall Carthage's offense is the best I've seen. No weakness at the 3A level, OL is fantastic, WR's are good (they can block too), QB has a cannon and that TE is a stud.

2 to Nacogdoches and Kilgore both 4a's. They would of beat Nac by 30 on most nights not sure what happened that night.

Congratulations Bulldogs, you deserved this victory.

22 is most definately a stud, but the offensive line is what won the game, without question. They dominated the line of scrimmage and in doing that took our linebackers out of the game.

Well, this is not Ester, this is her cousin Mavis. I am afraid that her old heart gave way right after the trophy was hoisted. Her last words were:

Dwight Smith or Mr. Smith is the REAL DEAL and a true workhorse with size, power and SPEED.

No excuses at all the Bulldogs played great yet the Bobcats fought hard.

What a heartbreak for Brady Newman 52 injuring his knee in the pregame excitement. Tough break for a kid who's not just a great kid but has worked so hard and never got to play in the big game and could have very possibly made a huge diference on the D line.

Bobcats Great Season and next season is just around the corner.
