In the final game they beat a good North Carolina team 1 - 0. North Carolina has had great success with its' women's soccer team and now the men are coming around. It was a great game. I feel that the best team won but they were closely matched. Both teams had chances throughout the game to score but good defense and missed shots stopped them. The Maryland goalie made one spectacular save.
Maryland finally got a goal with about 22 minutes left in the game and then held on to win.
A great game by two great teams.
