Yep we got loss #3 this weekend up in Durant. Our best player sat out the Denison game I believe.

What's the story with the best player? Is he hurt? It seems like he sits out a lot.

He had a knee injury during a scrimmage against Kaufman I believe it was. Just kind of a freak deal I guess. His first game of the year was against Hallsville. My first time to see him play was the next night against Mabank. He had very little explosion at all and was very tentative in testing his knee. Personally I think it's in his best interests to sit out until district and if the injury hasn't gotten any better then he needs to just shut it down until next year.

He never missed a game his freshman or sophomore year. He's started every game since he stepped on campus as a freshman. He averaged 19ppg as a freshman and 24ppg last year as a sophomore. While it hurts not to have that many points in the lineup, I think we might be better served if he just sits out for the time being.

Hopefully he can get healthy! At least he's only a junior so he still has time!

Odd, I know how rankings go - but Robinson girls beat the #1 team in the state and beat China Springs by 20 and are still ranked below both. Oh well, it's early and time will tell where all teams should be ranked.
