View Full Version : Texas advances to Final 4 in Women's College Volleyball!

They beat Iowa State 3 - 1 to advance. They led Iowa State 2 -0 and then lost the third game. They quickly fell behind the in the fourth game 3 - 1 but then caught up and took control. Now they are in the final 4. This will be a great year for the Horns as these Ladies have fought all year long. There are 4 great teams in the final four so they should be great games and it is a shame that only one will get the NC.
Texas plays Stanford in the first semi and Nebraska plays Penn State in the other one.

It would be nice to see an all Big 12 final. Nebraska is scary good.

The games are on tv tonight. They should be great teams and any one of the four teams are capable. I just hope UT plays as good as they are capable.

Both semifinals will be fantastic. Penn State hasn't lost a GAME much less a set all year. They are fantastic. Nebraska and Texas are both extremely good teams. Having seen and heckled both of them personally, I can say that there is a very distinct possibility for an all Big 12 final. Wouldn't surprise me at all. However, I do believe that this is Penn State's tournament to lose.

in related UT news.. to 2001 Holiday Bowl between UT and Washington is on ESPN Classic as we speak!!

So a Penn St. Stanford final? I couldn't catch anything. No ESPNU in the dorms.

Only thing that sucks is the championship is at 7pm Saturday night, same time as the Cowboys. Oh well....:D

Not a problem for me. More of a conflict for me with the bowl games. :D
