Cotulla held Pearsall motionless most of the time in the I35 rivalary game. Cotulla got on the board early in the first and never looked back. QB Miranda turned in a solid preformance along with RB Ayala, both went over a 100 yards rushing. The defense held Pearsall in check most of the game, and Pearsall got its only score late in the third. Once again penalties plaqued Cotulla and hurt many drives and was what kept the score at 33, otherwise we could've and would've probably finished with some 40 or 50 points. Pearsall falls to 0-2 in district play 0-7 overall and is now on a 20 game losing streak. Cotulla improves to 1-1 in district and 3-4 overall. Next week the Cowboys hit the road for a showdown with the Hondo Owls who are 2-0 in district and 5-2 overall. Game time schedueled for 7:30pm.
