We had a lil bit. Not too much, but enough to cover the cars and make the ground white.

We had a good lil snow ball fight at the house.

My mom says there is abunch at her house in LJ.

Still doesn't compare to 04 though.

We had almsot a foot then.

It's snowing in central Houston as well....

This happens on average only about once every 10 years here for all you northerners who are saying "big whoop!"

It's actually forecast to be back in the upper 70's later this week :(

My car 10 minutes ago

That is pretty cool.....KTXS in Abilene kinda made a deal during the 5 pm news ......it was colder in Houston than it was in Amarillo!!!!!

I think it was 33 in the Bayou City

and maybe 35 or 37 in the Panhandle????

Strange indeed....lets all look forward to the 70's this weekend!!

Working. Been down here off and on for the past 6 weeks. I'm way up on the northwest side (247 & loop 8). Not far from Tomball.

Yeah... that's a good drive from where I am inside the 610 loop. Probably not a good idea given the rarity of this weather and the ignorance of most Houston drivers in how to navigate in it

Yeah I've seen how bad many of them drive (especially on 610) on perfectly dry and warm streets. Think I'll just stay put and let em fight it out without me. :D

Well, that snow was pretty cool!

Took the dogs for a walk out in the snow in my lil' Lindale Park neighborhood, and they apparently didn't like it.

From what I understand, it didn't snow nearly as much inside the 610 Loop as it did out on the east side of town. Two of my co-workers didn't get in until 12pm today trying to get here without having to get on 225 or Highway 90.

Yeah. The inner loop didn't get much at all. Barely enough on top of cars to make a few snowballs.
