I know we have number 4 Argyle coming to our tournament this weekend there is a chance 4 or 5 teams from the top 20 could be there.

These are probably pretty close. Our guys are not rated and at this point don't deserve to be.

Silsbee's record is 7-1. Of their 8 games played, they have faced 5 state ranked teams, going 4-1 in those games. They have wins over #2 2A Corrigan-Camden 70-60, #4 1A Big Sandy 77-57, #1 1A Goodrich 76-64, and #14 2A Kountze 83-57. Their only loss was to #4 4A Beaumont Ozen 69-68.

Before district starts, Silsbee will face at least 4-5 more state ranked teams and then tackle Hardin-Jefferson in district.

Have you watched our girls play? They had one bad game against Clyde where they got hammered but they have played hard in every contest. They took a 5A school to the brink in the championship game of the tourney they were in last weekend.

The girls are goooood and will play for a long time. Depth is incredible. There are 9 or 10 girls that can play and play well. The new coach is very happy right now. The Wylie girls have only lost to 5a state ranked Midland High, Lewisville Hebron, and Clyde.

I watched them play once, they won handily, but inconsistency doesn't mean you should be ranked, they scored 4 points in the first half against Clyde.

Boys lost 1 game to Stephenville and dominated the tournament last weekend.

Silsbee takes down a strong 4A team last night on the road. Defeated Beaumont Central 73-52. They are now 8-1 on the year.

Navasota girls will fall next poll after going 3-3 this past week. Lost to 2 4A teams in their own tournament and to Weimer, a ranked 2A team. All were close except against Weimer.

Wylie Boys were ahead of Seminole 42 - 9 at half. Ended up around 59-42 by the end after Coach Perkins emptied the bench.

Keep it up & bring back the glory days of Sweeny basketball. Have not seen them play but heard good things. Tough region down the road so may the strong survive.

yep robinson had a girl bigger than niki from dibol and was all over all night...and the ff girls beat ennis.


also the bots defeated gladewater and will face the winner of mexia and argyle
