Coaches Poll (http://www.sportsline.com/collegefootball/polls/coaches)
No. School Record Points
2 Florida (26) 12-1 1481
3 Texas (4) 11-1 1408

Sagarin(1/6 of computer rating) (http://www.usatoday.com/sports/sagarin/fbt08.htm)
It's the Elo Chess that matters
#2 Texas 93.71
#4 Florida 91.05

Those are the only parts out. UF has so far not jumped Texas in ONE part of the computers. Colley (http://www.colleyrankings.com/playgod.html) ratings have a simulator. Plug in last nights games and Texas is still ahead although UF gains .033 points.

how crazy would that be for a rematch to happen? I doubt it, but it isn't inconceivable. That would further disgruntle the fans about the BCS.

There are a lot of people who want to see a rematch.

I am one of them. Even though OU offense is destroying teams, I still think the Horns can win it. And they will need to play OU again to prove the country that they are #1

A bowl game would be a neutral field. I still think Florida is in.

Beating Florida/Bama would have proved they were #1 as well

I have a problem with people like Leachs poll Texas is 4 spots behind OU when they have the same record and Texas beat them. How does that work?

maybe the fact that Leach's team beat Texas but then got donkey stomped by OU factored into that decision....

people were talking about why Leach would rank Texas and OU where they are...i jsut provided a pretty reasonable explanation for Mike Leach to rate them that way based on his team's performance against the teams, it has nothing to do w/ bama and florida...that said, i dont know what goes on inside of Leach's mind he is a weird character...

Because the team Leach coaches beat Texas and the team that Leach coaches was beaten by OU, the only team that has beaten them all year. That's probably why.

As a pollster you rank the whole season not just what you saw. If you cant sepearte those two things you don't need to be doing it. I can see Ou being ahead but 4 spots?
