A Playoff History Question...

I know that the Gobblers have been to the State Semifinals 4 out of the last Five Years...

What were those results and when was the last time Cuero won State?

Last Cuero state title was 1987.

Cuero probably should have won in 1994 but some team from the RGV sent them home:)

Yea Port I beat them in one of the worst coached games I have ever seen. We had 5 players from that team go D1 full ride scholarship, believe me we had the talent.

When was the last time Rockdale did anything??? I'd much rather have the success that Cuero has had than those Tigers!!!

A Straite "Non-fumble" on their own 25 yardline that Cameron recovered in the Semi-Finals at DKR says they shouldn't have been their either.

we got shafted in the 4th quarter of our semi-final game against Hutto in '05... but we haven't sat here and complained... Hutto did what they had to do to win, we had our chances to stop them and we didn't... Hutto won fair and square...

No, not that... it was a block in the back call on an Olguin 40+ yard TD run... our guy was 4-5 yards behind the Hutto defender that was chasing Olguin... the hutto defender fell forward and they called a push in the back on our guy...

the ref was kind of behind the play and saw it as a push in the back...

BUTTT... there was another 47 minutes and 50-something seconds in that game for us to win...

Oh, I remember that too. And we couldn't stop the 80 yd drive down the field to save our life at the end of the game.

You don't even want to hear my thoughts on that Hutto game. We got conservative, we were playing not to lose instead of to win. No excuse to lose that game, we were up 2 scores in the fourth qtr

The 1994 team would have had to beat Sealy. The Tigers started their 4-year run in '94.
