REALLY good basketball game tonight!

I went to Needville to watch Columbia play (4A) El Campo tonight.



Columbia was leading by 8 right before half until #21 for EC hits a half court buzzer beater to make it a 5 point game at half. 31-26


Second half is closer and Columbia leads by 2 with 8 seconds left.


EC inbounds ball, passes to wing, pump fake, dish to the block and lay up. Tie game. 50-50

OT


Teams are tied after 1 OT at 56.

With about 15 seconds left in Double OT, Columbia forces a TO in a tie ball game.


In bound ball, WIDE open 3 point shot is no good, offensive rebounnf put back no good, ANOTHEr offensive rebound... shot blocked back into his hands, with less than 1 second left, post goes back up strong and scores.

Columbia defeats 4A EC 60-58!

Mostly, but also because it went into Double OT.

I watched a game several years ago between 3A White Oak and 4A Kilgore.

I can't remember which team it was, but one of them hit a half-court shot at the buzzer to send it into overtime. Then did the same thing to send it into a 2nd overtime where they eventually won. Obviously, I'm not from either one of those schools, but I felt like I was. It was a very fun game to be at.
