Reg GOTW Polls???

How accurate have these polls been so far this year and during th playoffs especially. Only one of these games this week is even close to even the polls:thinking:

I don't know, but it sure would be interesting to see how well we did as a state wide fan base.

Some folks take the polls seriously and others just vote AGAINST a team based on their fans! :eek: :eek:

I've finished up most of my work this morning so I might go hunting for answers. ;)

Zero Week: 2 out 4 polls picked the correct winner [regions I & II]
Week 1: 3 out of 4 [regions I, II & IV]
Week 2: 2 out of 3 (region IV gotw was xld due to Ike) [regions II & III]
Week 3: 2 out of 3 (could not find a region IV gotw :confused: ) [regions I & III]
Week 4: 2 out of 4 [regions I & IV]
Week 5: 1 out of 3 (no region I gotw) [region III]
Week 6: 4 out of 4 :cheerl:
Week 7: 3 out of 3 (region II had a gotw, but no poll :confused: )
Week 8: 2 out of 4 [regions I & III]
Week 9: 3 out of 4 [regions I, II & III]
Week 10: 2 out of 2 (could not find a region III gotw & the region IV gotw did not have a poll :confused: )

26 of 38 = 68%

someone double check my math! :D :doh:

Gilmer & Texarkana Liberty Eylau were selected for GOTW 4 times
Brownwood, Bridgeport & Navasota were selected for GOTW 3 times

Several other schools were selected twice:
Prosper
Celina
Burkburnett
Bellville
Jasper
and a few others....my eyes are tired :twitch: :crazy1:
