Im not too sure about AP/WO. A friend of mine called at halftime and she said they were winning .I have been trying to call her but not answer..knowing the SINTON FANS...its TOOOO loud for her to hear the phone... :D

CalCats 14-7 over the GPCATS in the 3rd. GP scored on a fake punt on their 1st possesion of the 2nd half! Cal QB Chamblis is out for the 3rd on an injury. They got a soph QB in at QB, I believe. Good luck GP! CalCats are punting with about 8 min. left in the 3rd.

GP/CAL 14-14. GP scored on a punt return.
Cal punted and GP has it at their 48. Winfrey for GP picked up 5
yrds Cal side of field. Ortiz got 1. 3rd and 6th for GP.

GP needs to punt. Downed at the 15 of Cal. Sorry, GP had a 3rd and 4 earlier.
Cal takes over, 2nd and 10, incomplete. Cal 3rd and 10. They seem to be in a spread offense.
Cal quick kicked on 3rd down, I think. GP ball. 8 min left in the game!

GP punts, Cal at their own 11. It sounds like both defenses are jelling.
Oops, Cal tried a deep ball and went over the receiver. Cal in a shotgun,
completed a pass to their 20. Punt team comes out. GP tries to block.
GP gets the ball at the 45. The anouncer won't say who's side of field.
2nd and 10 for GP after a missed pass.

GP had to punt, Cal gets a pass interference on their second try. 4 min in the game. WOW, this is close. Cal at their own 41. Cal got 2. GP is shutting down the BB guy.

go overtime. GP is a good team. They are holding the no. 6 team in 4-A
to 14 afterall. 1 min left. GP needs to pass. 1st and 20. A run and the clock is
ticking. No one tries to stop the clock. End of regulation! 14-14!

GP wins on a FG! They blocked CalCats try for a FG, earlier!
GP is a really good team! 55 game winning streak for Cal is
at an end! Final score 17-14!

Hehe, gotta smoke. GP broke Cal's 55 district winning streak. Now I
get to visit with my Bro who I haven't seen in awhile.

This game was a defensive struggle. GP excelled at special teams and
won it that way. Jeez, I was 20 min from this game and wish I went!
I'll get back on in a little bit....

Yep, first time in seven years Calallen didn't win the district title! :rolleyes:

Well, unfortunately I can't make it down there for every game, I'm lucky to make every other one these days. I'm just very happy to know we have devoted fans like you to help us "out of towners".
