I'm guessing this was a first round game. I'll see if I can find who they play next for the folks on here from Fairfield.

Yeah I was talking with EV a couple of nights ago and he didn't know the brackets for the tournament either and he couldn't really find anything. It's hard finding brackets for high school basketball tournaments.

I didn't see anything on Grandview's website for their tournament. Oh well I'll just have to find out from boxscores how things went down there.

I'm thinking about driving down to watch us play Mabank tomorrow night in their tournament, but I'm not sure if I want to make a 150 mile roundtrip to see the game since it's just the semi-final match-up.

You ain't lying. I called one of our assistant coaches tonight to see how we did against Hallsville and I told him I'd try to get down there tomorrow night and he said it wasn't too far. He forgot that I live about 5 minutes south of Hebron HS...lol. I like to get out and watch us play as much as possible, but it's harder with basketball because there are so many games.

I was too, but our head coach must be friends with some folks down there is all I can guess. He's originally from Chicago so I don't know how he wound up knowing folks from that area.

I think this is the tournament field. I'm just going by the scores I saw tonight.

Roosevelt 57
TK Gorman 34

Rockwall 57
A. Maceo 54

Madison 68
Hallsville 54

Mabank 55
LC-M 54

Really surprised to see Mauriceville come all the way up to Mabank for a tournament. I'd like for us to get to play Velt in the finals, but we'd have to beat Mabank and they'll have to beat Rockwall for that to happen.

That's not bad then to be playing without your two best players and still win.

A lot of sterotypes about playing in Mabank hope you guys or Velt dont have a problem with either of them. When we played them there we didnt so maybe it has gotten better.

I was told we have Mabank tomorrow at 8 so I guess we'll see then how it goes. I've heard stuff about that area down there in the past, but I would hope everything will be alright. I would guess it might be if that many Dallas area teams will play there as well as Mauriceville.
