The official "Road Trip of the Old Codgers" thread.

[Sweetwater Red]

Right now we a riding a possible eight deep in a seven passenger
van. Here's the list.

#1: DaHop (definite...obviously)
#2: Lil' DaHop (still up in the air...:( )
#3: skins4life (maybe)
#4: GetRDoneStangs (definite)
#5: Stang Red (maybe)
#6: Sweetwater Red (definite)
#7: Lion_Addict (definite)
#8: Looking4number8 (maybe)

If some of these guys can't make it, I'm sure DaHop will invite
some one to take their spot.

Here's the deal. How many want to leave early enough to watch
Everman vs. Stephenville? It will mean that DaHop has to leave
Snyder about 8:00 am or earlier. Ya'll can do the math from there
as far as him picking us up from Sweetwater and Brownwood.

What do ya'll think?

What kind of vehicle are they taking??

When we went to Alabama, we took a Tahoe and with just 5 of us....it was claustrophobic, IMO!! Two up front, two in the middle seat and one in the back...still felt "close!"

It's actually looking like I'm not going to make it after all. I told LHPM earlier in the week that I didn't think I'd be able to make it because of Finals next week. Then found out this morning that my hardest final will be Monday @ 8 A.M. So I don't think I can afford to "play" all day and night Saturday. I'm going to be reading and reading and reading some more instead.

Well, I'm up and add'em, bright eyed and bushy tailed. Okay, so much for that lie.:D I made it home about 3:35 this morning with no problems, great trip with the guys. Only near incident was the multiple deer coming home and the one that decided to run in front of us at 1:30, heck the oldtimer still has reflexes. Enjoyed the game and meeting up with everyone, those we had met and those we hadn't until yesterday.

They where really a lot of them untill about Winters or so and when the moon went down.......boom....no more deer!!!!:clap: :clap:
