FedEx BCS National Championship
Jan. 8 / 8 p.m. Miami Gardens, Fla. FOX
*BCS #1 vs. BCS #2
Projection: Oklahoma vs. Florida
- Texas might have a case, but it'll be Oklahoma off to thump Missouri in the Big 12 Championship to walk into the BCS Championship. If Missouri pulls off the shocker, then Texas will make the trip to Miami. The winner of the Florida - Alabama SEC Championship will be here, and the loser will go to the Sugar.

Tostitos Fiesta Bowl
Jan. 5 / 8 p.m. Phoenix, Ariz. FOX
*BCS vs. BCS (Big 12 Champion, if available)
Projection: Texas vs. Utah
- The Fiesta Bowl will almost certainly get the second choice of BCS teams, and even if it gets the first pick if Oklahoma ends up No. 1 in the final BCS rankings, it'll get Texas no matter what. The big question becomes the opponent, as the Fiesta will get the first pick of at-large teams (after the Sugar and Fiesta pick to replace the national champion combatants), and it'll have to decide between Utah and Ohio State. The bowl really, really, really wanted USC, and might like the idea of Ohio State, but the early indication is that it'll be Utah since the fans aren't expected to travel to New Orleans if the Sugar Bowl got the Utes.

Allstate Sugar Bowl
Jan. 2 / 8:30 p.m. ET New Orleans, La. FOX
*BCS vs. BCS (SEC Champion, if available)
Projection: Alabama vs. Ohio State
- The SEC championship game loser is almost certain to be the first choice of the Sugar, and then it'll get the second choice of the at-large teams (after the Sugar and Fiesta pick to replace the national champion comtatants). It's not likely going to be too interested in Cincinnati, and it's not going to be thrilled with getting Utah, considering the bowl had Hawaii last year, so watch for a back-channel deal for the Utes to stay closer to home and go to the Fiesta and for the Sugar to jump all over the Buckeyes.

FedEx Orange Bowl
Jan. 1 / 8 p.m. Miami Gardens, Fla. FOX
*BCS vs. BCS (ACC Champion, if available)
Projection: Boston College vs. Cincinnati
- The ACC champion automatically goes here, so obviously it'll be either Boston College or Virginia Tech. The Orange gets the last pick of all the available teams, and Cincinnati will be almost certain to be left on the board by the Sugar..

Rose Bowl presented by Citi
Jan. 1 / 5:10 p.m. ET Pasadena, Calif. ABC
*BCS vs. BCS (Big Ten Champion vs. Pac 10 Champion, if available)
Projection: USC vs. Penn State
- Cut and dry. If USC beats UCLA, it's playing Penn State in the Rose Bowl in a far better matchup than it'll get credit for.

Agreed, but it should be a good game. Both teams have about the same amount of talent. Its sads that much better teams left out there that won't get to play in a BCS game: Boise State, TCU, Texas Tech, on so on.
