25 years ago this year the Daingerfield Tigers won the 3a Championship with one of the most awesome teams in Texas high school history. 25 years later..............the Tiger Train is rolling again. I don't think they lose again this year and celebrate the anniversary with another gold ball!!!!!

That was an amazing dominance back then. I don't know if the quality of teams overall was down that year or if they were just that great a team but it is amazing. Only 8 points given up during the year by a punt that was blocked for a safety and an interception returned. Their closest games were the second and third one during the season and one was by 14 points and the other one a 10 to 6 win over a 4A semifinalist that year and it would have been double digits if an interception hadn't been returned for a td.
In every playoff game total dominance. Usually every team that wins state has at least one or two very close games.
Most incredible and remarkable indeed.
