Will Cuero tie the record for Most All-Time State Championship Appearances?

Cuero is just a win away from tying Converse Judson and Odessa Permian for all-time total State Championship Game Appearances....

Only 4 of the top 25 listed below are still alive in the playoffs which has got to be an all-time low given the quality of the programs that are up there: Cuero, Celina, Katy and Mart are the only teams playing in Week 4 of the playoffs out of the top 25

Cuero and Bay City are the only programs which have made State Championship game appearances in all 4 of the decades of the 1970's, 1980's, 1990's and 2000's

From 1920-2007 a total of 97 different programs appeared in 3 or more U.I.L. State Championship games (6-man, 8-man & 11-man combined)

you do great work....still holding out for a plano trip in the 2000's..and a championship...they have one in each of the decades 60's-90's..........looking at the list and it might be another list you do but i would guess collin county has produced more state champions then any other county in the state.......celina 8, plano 7, farmersville, mckinney and wylie have one each. thats pretty dang good.

70s - 4
80s - 3
90s - 2
00s - 1

we already have our one for this decade to continue the countdown...

But I woner, will the pattern circulate with 4 in the next decade? that'd be sweet

Another note, 5 different coaches have taken Cuero to the State Finals...
