Approx 20 miles....

You leave DKR and get to Mopac / Loop 1 and go north to Parmer Ln. Then go North/left on Parmer Ln to the RR complex.

Several ways to get there though.

Friday night: Going to Humble to watch (2A) Arp and Kirbyville.


Then, Sat:

I'm going to make it to ALT/Killeen at DKR, then head to RRISD to watch Cuero/LaVega.

Sounds like a weekend to me.

Yep, but wasn't sure how well he knows the area, and trying to keep it as simple as possible....

Still gotta convince the rest of the crew, but it looks like a done deal for the Sat part. I MIGHT have to skip the Arp/Kirbyville game in order for us to make it to Austin with more than like 2 hours of sleep. :)

183a to Avery Ranch is indeed more direct but its a toll road. Turn right from AR to Parmer Rd if you go that way.

You can also take 183 to McNeil, McNeil to Parmer (left).

Parmer also intersects with I-35 in N Austin. Lots of lights but Saturday won't be too bad.

FWIW I drive Parmer every day to work. And....I might make it to the game Saturday with any luck.
