That is great news for Texas. The Longhorns finished just 1 point behind OU in the USA Today Coaches Poll. OU is estimated to be slightly ahead in the computer polls. It is coming down to the wire!

Lol. How does that work? I thought everybody said with a win over a quality opponent on the road OU would jump UT in the BCS polls?

It's the other way around. I guess that 45-35 coverage helped the Horns.

The computer polls will probably sway toward OU though. Should be interesting.

Not good news for the Horns. Everyone on orangebloods believe the Horns will fall in the BCS now. College football is now a complete joke.

Texas jumps OU in the Harris poll!

Apparently by not enough points though. Look for OU to climb ahead of UT in the BCS. Next year, they should just have all the coaches vote on a top 10. Stoops can have his tools (Leach and Mangino) do his dirty work, and we can just skip the regular season since apparently head to head doesnt matter.

from ESPN

The Harris poll is out, and Texas has a six-point lead on Oklahoma. This means that Texas wins the Big 12 South if the teams are either tied in the computers or if Texas still leads in that part of the formula.
If Oklahoma passes Texas in the computers, the Sooners will finish ahead in the BCS standings and win the Big 12 South.

I think Tech's close win over Baylor helped Texas as well. While Tech only won by 7, Texas won by 24!!! Quality of victory!!!!

Unlike th eHomers I am going to stick with Boise State to upset the crap out of someone. I just wish it was OU or Alabama but they wont give them another shot at that :)
