AP does not matter in the BCS

OU tops UT in the USA Today poll by ONE POINT -- 1,397 to 1,396. But the Horns did jump from #4 to #3 there.

The BCS formula is comprised of 3 polls. The Harris Poll, the USA Today Coaches Poll, and the BCS Computers. Each make up 1/3 of the formula. The BCS Computers are made up of 6 seperate ranking systems that are combined and fed into the computer.
1) Anderson & Hester, 2) Richard Billingsly, 3) Colley Matrix, 4) Kenneth Massey, 5) Jeff Sagarin, and 6) Peter Wolfe. FYI, the USA Today Coaches Poll is already out today. Texas is now 1 point behind OU after this weekend's games (making up 41 pts. on OU from last week's poll).
