Can someone give a summary and stats on the game, I could not listen but it sounded like a good one.

I am so proud of the way Wylie is playing. At the beginning of the year Dave Campbell and especially all the news stations is Abilene gave Wylie no shot really. All they could they say is There are only 4 returning starters and bla bla bla. The prediction was Bwood, then Snyder the Wylie. Well take a good look at the way things are going. Wylie And Sweetwater are 1st and 2nd in district and still in the playoffs. Just had to get my 2 cents in there. GO WYLIE--Great win for the dawgs. Also can't wait fot the lh and sweetwater game. 2 great teams right there!

I was there and it was a great game. China Spring played a heck of a ball game it was a shame their season had to come to an end. Wylie deserved to win and was the better team on the field today.

Can't wait for next week. Looks like it may be played in Mansfield. But we will find out later.

He played more than half the game with a dislocated shoulder. Missed one play because the trainer had to come out. Never came off the field offense or defense for the rest of the game.

Thanks! Missed you at the G&M. CS played and excellent game and never gave up! If CS gets that ball back, they score and win the game! I did not like the way a few of the CS fans started to leave at the 2 min mark! Your team deserved better than that. They came close to winning the game at the end. My hats off to the China Spring's football players.

Sorry I missed y'all. I had my 5 year old daughter and did not realize the wind was blowing as hard as it was. We were sitting at the top and had no wind blowing on us. When we got down there, it was COLD.

I was disappointed they were leaving as well. They are typically dedicated fans. I was there for everything. I paid respect to Wylie because they earned it on the field. I took in the screenery. I enojyed as much as I could. Those boys (both sides) played hard and clean and it was a great day of football.

By the way, ran into a few La Vega players and congratulated them on their game last night. Nice couple of young men representing their school today.

Rabid, your son was a warrior, and I know you are proud of him and all the CS team and coaches. I also know how hard it was to watch his last HS game. China Spring was a total class act from the field to the sidelines, to the stands. That game was played the way all HS games should be played. I feel very fortunate for Wylie to be advancing to the next round.:)

Saw them on our side too! Did not get to talk or take a picture of them, as I was trying to get to the M&G. Lots of sportsmanship from both teams. Players kept helping each other up.

Great game CS! What a class act--top to bottom, coaches/players/fans! It was a tough, hard-hitting, clean game between two very evenly matched teams--as one of our coaches said in the locker room just before kick off--"Like playing your mirror image".
The general consensus before the game seemed to be that CS had the better offense and Wylie the slightly better defense--I think those two seemed to pretty well balance each other out, the difference in the game ended up being Wylie's offense stepped it up in the second half and took advantage of the opportunities handed to it by the defense. But CS never gave up, kept moving the ball when they had to and nearly overcame 3 interceptions to pull the game out at the end. Nothing to be ashamed of guys--your kids gave it their all today and left it on the field. Hopefully we get to do this again someday!
