The Lady Aggies led 1 - 0 going into the last ten minutes but North Carolina tied it 1 - 1 and it went into two overtimes before NC was able to get another goal and win 2 - 1. The fact that NC had the home field advantage in the playoffs instead of a neutral site didn't help I am sure. UNC has won many national championships in women's soccer. It is a shame the Lady Aggies couldn't have advanced but still a great season. It is a shame that the Lady Aggies and Lady Horns were done wrong as usual in the playoff seedings but they both should have made better effort at the Big 12 Tournament. Oh well.
