Turnovers were very costly for the Pirates tonight. Bellville was beatable, but sometimes the ball just doesn't bounce your way. Sounded like a great game.

Tough loss, but nobody gave Sinton much of a chance this year after the 1-9 season last year. One heck of a turn around. It all can be contributed to the never say die attitude of this group of kids. You had a great year and you made the town of Sinton proud with your gritty determination. Hold your heads up high Pirates!!! You deserve it!!!

Another classic Sinton-v-Bellville game!!!! I am very proud of the heart & never die attitude our boys displayed tonight!!!!

Early turnovers (caused by GREAT defensive plays) killed us. You just can't give a team like Bellville a short field. Turnovers are a part of the game, so it's not an excuse just the way it was.

Our boys are hurting, but when they can sit back and really soak in what they've accomplished, not just tonight, but all season they will & should be very PROUD!

Just think...we were out-matched by: size & speed and still only lost by 7!!!

Not much else to say tonight. I'm emotionally drained. Just want to also give a HUGE to our coaches!!! They did a fantastic job with this group of kids!!! 1-9 to 11-1...INCREDIBLE!!!

I do need to apologize about the M&G snafu. I'm not sure what I was thinking. I have way too many booster responsibilites before the game to try to stage a M&G. LOL. If anyone showed up, I really am sorry. After I found out gate 2 was closed anyway, I had no idea how that would work out. I walked over in that direction around 5:30 pm and no one was there.

Great win Bellville. Good Luck next week. Thanks to Coach Huey for telling me & some of our fans as we left the stadium that they were very impressed with our boys.

I like to give props to the Bellville offensive line, all year they heard they were the weak link. Last night, they paved the way for 492 total yards, including 369 yards on the ground. Bellville averaged 8.79 yards per attempt rushing the ball. Good job guys! Way to pull and lead those sweeps.

Thanks, Bellville has run a 43 cross buck play all year and when it works, it is a thing of beauty. If I remember correctly, he took the play more to the outside, so maybe the coaches have added a little wrinkle to this play. Oh, and when it doesn't work, it's very ugly.

Houston came up big on all his 8 running attempts, I was hoping they would of given him a few more carries.
