did they lose this weekend? So does mean Liberty Hill has the longest current win streak?

If we are talking 6- man...I think it will be the Highland Hornets taking it all the way!!!

They have lots of depth for a 6- man program and lots of talent as well!!!

I just hope they can play past halftime------just in case they HALF to!!!

:D :D :D

Watch out for the Abbott Panthers. They have been solid all year, and went 4 qtrs for the first time all year last week in the 2nd round of the playoffs. They still won by at least 35 points.

RS had only lost 1 game in the last 5 years until last week. They went undefeated in 04 winning state, lost only a semi-final game in 05, undefeated and winning state again in 06 and 07. Then they won there first 11 games of this year. That puts them loosing 2 games in 5 years now with 3 state titles.

Thats a pretty good run!

Since they lost their "Mr. Everything" last year to graduation they weren't the same. That Tyler Etheridge kid was something like 61-1 in high school with three titles at QB.

Calvert has been #1 all year and have handily 45'ed all they have played. Saw then last Friday in Moody when they beat Milford 56-8. They scored the winning TD on their first offensive play of the second half. I think that's the third or fourth time they played into the third quarter.

Loved it for years. Granger Huntress does a fabulous job breaking down the state...
