As a grad of SWT, hats off to the Cats for getting into the Div.1 AA playoffs!!! Sic em cats!!!

Yeah, definitely. I played under Ben Norton when I was at Sam and he's a total perfectionist. I'm happy for him and that program.

they didnt only make the playoffs they won their conference...

And did so because Central Arkansas can not compete for the conf title until 2010 or so. A conf title is a title no matter though.

The Texas State football team will travel to Missoula, Mont., and play the University of Montana in the first round of the 2008 NCAA Division I Football Championship on November 29, 2008.
The game can be heard live throughout the San Marcos area on KTSW and on the http://www.txstatebobcats.com/ website beginning 90 minutes before the 1:00 p.m. (CT) kickoff.
Television schedules and games times for all rounds of the 2008 championship will be updated daily at the NCAA Sports web site (http://www.ncaa.com/).

Texas State will have to play some defense to win, They have only held one team to score under 20 points this year. Their offense is superb but defense is a ?.

No kidding. Back when I was at SFA in the mid 90s, SFA played in Montana in the semifinals. It was 7 degrees at kickoff, not including the wind chill factor. SFA was up 14-7 and then Montana proceeded to rack up 63 unanswered points...all with their starters in.:mad: :mad: :mad:

Yeah, we played there in '04 in the quarter finals. It was like 60 degrees there but it was so loud I almost couldn't think. I would have loved to play in an atmosphere like that week in and week out.
