Just got a frantic phone call from my stepmom. My niece's 8 day old baby girl, "BreElle" has just been air lifted from Hobbs to either Albuquerque or Lubbock.

She has an obstruction in her stomach and they aren't even sure she will make it through the flight!!

Please say a prayer for baby BreElle and her mother Brittany, who is on the Life Flight with her!

Just got a call.....they are at University Medical Center in Lubbock and getting the baby prepped for Emergency Exploratory surgery.

She had a hole in her diaphragm and her intestines were pushed up where they shouldn't have been.

She was in the NICU all night...my parents left out for Lubbock this morning and I haven't received an update since then.

Just got an update....BreElle is doing so good, they might let her go home tomorrow!!

great news......... sorry she's been sick but glad they found out the cause and were able to fix it quickly ;)

They fixed the hole in her diaphragm, put her colon and intestines back in place, monitored her eating for 24 hours and she responded so well....they let her go home today!
