I have found in the past that the DMN can't pick their nose much less a football game.

Kaufman is pretty good. In typical Todd York style they have gotten better and better as the season has gone on.

Plus they laid off the sports beat writer that covered the small schools. With Community Newspapers (Plano Courier and many others) in dire straits financially, local coverage will get worse before it gets better........in print. Internet coverage will continue to improve. The downlow is now my first stop for scores.

Argyle is pretty good also. It should be a great game to watch. Are you going?

I picked Kaufman on my bracket, but I wish I had gone with Argyle. I'll take Argyle by 11. Good luck Eagles!

FWIW this season's HS 'pickers' are all 75%+

Well when they have maybe 1 game a week that could go either way. Everman vs a 0-10 team isn't hard to pick

the DMN writers build up their %'s with easy picks

kaufman is a good team, but Argyle's record is deceptive

they've struggled with offensive consistency all year, but when they are on their game they are tough to beat

they pick the games involving teams the DMN covers ... what else would you expect?

Not real sure how the record is deceptive if offensive consistency is the problem.

Lost to Prosper, Burkburnett, Celina, and B-port. In three of those games turnovers were costly. If we don't turn the ball over we can play with the best in the state. I think we win tonight but hey I am from Argyle and I do love me some Argyle.

GOOD LUCK AND BE SAFE EVERYONE

This is a no brainer Argyle by at least 10. If they don't win tonight I guess I have no brain.

Nuts. I was hoping for a 9-3A sweep and a rematch in the region finals.

Props to 10-2A (Pilot Point, Callisburg, Pottsboro) for their own sweep, by the way. All 3 will be tested next week.
