Texas won head up...no contest.
Not only did they win, but they proved they were tougher. Anyone who watched that game would tell you the same thing...

+1. The guy is a stud, but I don't get the heavy mascara. Of course, I don't get any of the tricked up face paint, dances, rags, etc.

You really need to broaden your perspective beyond the b12. That awesome defense that you saw last night is ranked 56th is the nation (actually dropped 1 spot by beating TT).
Florida is ranked #3 in the nation in scoring offense and scoring defense, tied with OU for #1 in turnover margin, tied for #3 in interceptions, #1 in redzone defense, #1 in fewest passes intercepted, #4 in punt return yardage and tied for #6 in punt return scoring.
Florida is the most complete team in the nation and will win the NC this year. They will return all but 4-5 players and almost their complete defense and will be ranked #1 going into Tebow's Senior season. He will be back!

Thanks for the insight, but Texas or Oklahoma would smoke them, Tebow aside.
I've watched a lot of SEC ball on CBS this year and I truly feel they are behind the Big 12 South. Overall they are a deeper conference but Florida (and Bama) would have major problems with OU, UT, Tech, and Ok St. Just my .$02...:)

Well, being in the stadium for five other home games this year, I can attest that he's right in the fact that we're not always super loud. I mean some teams didn't even use silent counts on offense because of it. We're rabid in support for sure, but not always in the volume department. But we for sure fixed it last night. :D I was at the Kansas game and I too was a bit surprised at the lack of loudness....but last night was more than awesome...that is where that Sooner Magic comes from!!!!

I agree that the SEC is down but not UF. This team is the result of consecutive #1 recruiting classes when Meyer came to Gainesville. In 2006, they were projected to be serious NC contenders beginning this year and they will be even better next year with Tebow as a senior. They will lose Harvin and Spikes but little else.
The beauty is that we will most likely get to find out soon enough if they are what most people outside of the b12 are expectiung them to be! At least when the SEC wins the NC this time it will be against a real conference and not the little 10.

Thoughts...
I just got back from Oklahoma and ohhh boy was I pissed for spending 200 bucks to watch a massacre.... Well maybe they can make a BCS bowl and I can go to that game and It will hopefully be A GOOD ONE!!!
At least the OU fans were courteous for the most part and I got to see some old friends...:)
