Whose better?
Any thoughts?
Last year it was sefinately 17AAA with China Spring and Gatesville.
But this year I have to say the stronger ditrict is 18 AAA.

A sweep is possible..there are some good matchups..Lorena-Giddings will likely get ugly...but Yoe-China Spring could be really good..I am may make the drive down to Waco for that one...Taylor will give Gatesville all they want..I think Taylor will pull the upset...

The Cameron Yoe-China Spring game would be an interesting game to catch. Both teams have been highly ranked at one point or another (actually still). I don't know who should be favored but it looks like it will be close.

Both of these District are very talented, 18 might hav the edge this year we will find out friday. Usually 17-AAA is one of the toughest districts in the state when i played in 17-AAA i thought it was on the best i would hate to see that district this year. It was Gatesville, China Spring, Marlin, Cameron, McGregor, and Robinson. For the most part these two districts have always been tough. This year i am going with China, Gatesville, and Giddings.

17-AAA - 2-1
18-AAA - 1-2

There is no doubt about it 17AAA was possibly the toughest all time 3A district when it had Marlin, Robinson, Gatesville, Lorena, and the rest. Wow! Just look at how many play-off games this district has won over the years.

It looks like a couple of other 17AAA teams tried to make a comeback this year but fell a little short. I wonder if a weak pre-season schedule helps you or does it hurt you in the end when you play in the big district games?
I know it has really helped Giddings.

Rebel II - FYI - McGregor has made more playoff appearences & won more playoff games than anyone in that district ever has & you didn't even list them. McGregor is on the come back!

Hopefully they'll be in our district! We're most likely going 2A, and are only losing 3 linemen & a running back on offense(which are all replaceable),and 2 ends on defense. We've no doubt been down the past 5 years or so but what comes around goes around. We should be coming back around.
