Flu Shot

Just got my flu shot..........

I got one last year, got the flu, which then turned into bronchitis....

I had taylor get one too, a day later she had 103 fever for a week and half.. needless to say, we dont get flu shots.

My dad has never gotten one and doesnt ever get the flu.

Funny story.....when I was in Tampa just awhile back, I went to McDill AFB to get some pre-deployment shots....when I pulled out my shot record the little nurse goes "holy cow!!" LOL. I rcvd an Anthrax, a typhoid, a Hep B, and a MMR I believe. Still have to take Small Pox and perhaps a couple of others to be current.

I think we HAVE to get a flu shot for school like every couple years or something.


I know in JH, the nurse was about to kick me out of school til I got some shot.... I don't think it was the flu though.

I doubt that I will ever take another flu shot though.

I got my first flu shot last year after being exposed (my daughter had it)...got a round of Tamiflu to go along with it ...that stuff is $$

Speaking of...have you ever had a 'flu test' done???? Kinda GROSS!!!
