Do the refs no longer give a sideline warning? Jasper was called for a sideline infraction and it resulted in a first down when Chapel Hill had a 4th and 2.

Rule changed this year. It is 5 yards on 1st flag, 5 on 2d flag and 15 on 3rd and all after that. (And most refs will use 1 or more "unofficial" warnings before it ever gets to even the 1st 5 yarder)

Good point Mike.....I think they gave "unofficial" warnings in most every game this year. I have seen it called more this year...but thats why they have rules!!!

It just really ticked me off as a fan that it gave Chapel Hill a first down when it was 4th and 2.  :(

Be mad at your coaches. Not the officials..

If you were at the game I might could understand your statement. But when Chapel Hill fans are saying "wow, I'm loving the one sided officiating", then there is a problem.

Maybe it was an evil plot by the officials getting paid $28.00 to scam your kids out of their dreams?

Man I'm an umpire and always take the officials sides, but last night was just insane! I can't defend their actions last night, one in particular made two of the worse calls I've seen. This is the same 1 that made the sideline warning, and from what I've heard from the Jasper sideline members was that the ref offered nothing verbal just went straight to the flag. I know by rule you don't have to give un-official" warnings, but most veterans give "un-official" warnings in all sports. BTW VAMIKE I'm not trying to bash you guys, but last night was unacceptable. That chapter's head would be embarrassed .
