I'm so stupid!!!

I just polished my wood floors in my living room. Instead of starting on the side furthest from my bedroom and working that way, I started at the bedroom and worked from there.

Now I am stuck in the opposite end of the house and want to go to bed!!!:(

lol, mom started to rearrange the lving room this evening and is steam cleaning as she goes, but didnt tell me she started steam cleaning... I walked to the kitchen with shoes on, over the carpet and got told I couldnt come back in there till it was dry

I just had a thought!!!!!

Since I started at my bedroom, and you know how big my living room is, it takes me a while to polish the whole thing.

If I go out the door by the garage and through the backyard to the back door, I should just be able to slide into my bedroom with 2 steps.

The floor there should be almost if not already dry!!!

The back door opens up toward my bedroom door...no way can I leap around it, shut the back door, open my bedroom door, all without touching the floor!!
