Tough break for Coldspring, it looked like they were just about to get back in the game, but good teams take advantage of turnovers and WOS definately did that

I was pleased with our defense last night. I feel like Coldspring had a good plan to start the game and caught us off balance a few times. I also feel like CS played well, they didn't have any turnovers at all. A few procedure penalties, but that was due to them doing that, racing to the line with 8 seconds left and snapping the ball before we could get set. Good idea, but your going to have some kids not be able to get set when you do that. The one thing I did have to scratch my head about, though, was the clock management by CS at the end of the first. Not real sure what Barbay was thinking. Especially, with us getting the ball first in the 3rd.

The WOS was in conservative mode as usual. We could have thrown the ball on CS all night, but were content just running it. I can't argue with 36 points off of no turnovers, but we are capable of so much more.

I look forward to Caldwell, I've heard much about them, but have not seen them. Maybe we can all meet somewhere before or after and break bread.
