** I saw Newton play in the Astrodome a few years ago, and I can't remember who they played in the playoffs.

Same with Wimberley, but it was the year they won state, and the game was in Katy. I can't remember who they played.

I may add more because I think I'm forgetting some. But, that's all that come to mind. Granted, I'm only 17........ so I got ALOT more time.:)

I think it was either 02, 03, or 04 in the Astrodome.

It was back to back to back games.... and I know FOR a FACT that Newton was there.

I can't remember ANY of the other 5 teams.

Can somebody help me. I believe it was either Semi's or state games.

Was anybody else there that can help me out?

I'm just about convinced it was 2004 in the Astrodome.

Was anybody else there that can help me with the other teams there?

Some of the teams I have listed, I have seen over a dozen times.

I've been to TONS of games, but it's usually the HS I go to, or other local teams.

Like next week, I'm goign to watch Sealy/Cuero.... both of which I have already seen before.

You have to realize, I just started driving last year.... so before that I had to depend on others to drive me, and they never wanted to drive far.

Gimme a break.

They played Brookshire Royal. That sounds right.

Seems like I remember Tatum, or Jasper, or one of those teams like that.

*** Can somebody add Navasota to my 3A list and Alvin to my 5A list?

I forgot to put them on there. I'll prolly come up with more.

The game in which you watched Wimberley in Katy, the year they won state, was against WOS. It was the semi-finals.

I looked it up a little while ago and it showed 52-29.

I thought that sounded right, but I wasn't sure.

my list is long and i added only a few new ones this season...but going back and looking at the list...i have forgotten a lot about some of those games............i used to write the scores on the programs...but i don't buy them anymore...(I remember when i was a kid and they were .50.......usually just the roster...now theres too much bs. in them................so can i make a suggestion since you're only 17 ........make notes about the games you watch and keep them....i can remember some things like great coaches, players and great games...but the older i get i can't always remember all.

Of course i am a good bit older than you necks fan but... i just went and tried to count the teams i have seen Brownwood play in the PLAYOFFS since I started following the team in the early 70's. I count (loosly) 41 different teams that i have seen Brownwood play in the playoffs alone.

Another long list for us long time Brownwood fans is just the number of different teams that have been in our distrist. I have not missed many of those games either and with the way the UIL moves us around... that would be a pretty big number of teams I have see play.

But I might add I am impressed at the number of different teams you have seen at your young age! You picked a very good and healthy hobby and a lot of young people could learn from you.

I started making a complete list but I just cant remember who some of the teams were. In college (in the very early 80's) we used to go to local high school playoff games. I have no idea who those teams were! Also would go visit a freinds family for the weekend and watch their game... no idea who they were playing. This thread has made my head hurt!!!
